These Terms govern your use of the RaxBoard website (raxboard.com), the RaxBoard SaaS licensing service, and the RaxBoard software you self-host on your own infrastructure. By creating an account or purchasing a license, you accept these Terms.
Each RaxBoard license is a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and run one RaxBoard forum on a single domain you control. The license is perpetual: the software you have installed continues to work indefinitely. The included 12 months of support and updates renew on purchase of the yearly extension. Multi-domain or franchise deployments require one license per domain.
Install RaxBoard on any server you control. Modify the source for your own community. Migrate your forum between hosts. Build private add-ons and themes. Publish add-ons in our marketplace under the separate marketplace terms.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the RaxBoard core. Remove or obscure the licensing system. Use a single license on multiple domains. Use RaxBoard to host content that infringes third-party rights, violates applicable law, or facilitates abuse, fraud, or large-scale spam.
Prices are shown in USD, EUR, or TRY exclusive of VAT. Stripe processes payments. We offer a 14-day refund window from purchase for the core license, provided the license has not been bound to a live domain that received user traffic. Marketplace items (third-party add-ons, themes, services) are non-refundable once downloaded.
Updates and security patches are delivered through the licensing service while your support window is active. We may suspend or revoke a license — and notify your forum via webhook — if we detect license fraud, payment chargebacks, or use of the software to facilitate illegal activity. A revoked license stops receiving updates; the installed software continues to operate in a degraded mode without update access.
RaxBoard is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranty that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where RaxBoard is incorporated. Disputes will first be addressed via good-faith negotiation, and failing that, by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect.
