v2 · July 10, 2026
This License & Anti-Piracy Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Licensee") and RaxBoard ("we", "us") and governs your use of the RaxBoard forum software and any add-ons, themes and language packs (the "Software").
"License" means a single purchased entitlement to the Software. "Licensed Domain" means the one domain (and its sub-domains) you register for a License. "Marketplace Item" means any add-on, theme or language pack purchased for a License.
Subject to your payment of the applicable fees and continued compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run one (1) instance of the Software on a single Licensed Domain you own or control. Each License covers one Licensed Domain; additional domains require additional Licenses.
You may not, and may not permit any third party to: (a) copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease or share the Software or your License key; (b) use the Software on more domains than you hold Licenses for; (c) decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (d) remove, disable, bypass or interfere with any license check, activation, copyright notice or attribution/branding embedded in the Software; or (e) use the Software to build a competing product.
The Software periodically validates your License with our license server and transmits the minimum data needed to verify entitlement (such as your Licensed Domain, License key and installed version). You consent to this validation. Use of an invalid, expired, revoked, shared or pirated License, or any attempt to circumvent license enforcement, may cause the Software to disable licensed functionality and entitles us to revoke the License without refund and to pursue all remedies available under applicable law. Circumventing or removing license protection is a material breach of this Agreement and an infringement of our intellectual-property rights.
The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights. You receive only the limited rights expressly granted here.
Each License includes a defined period of support and updates as described at the time of purchase. When that period ends the Software keeps working, but new releases and support require renewal. Security fixes may be provided at our discretion.
The Software may include third-party or open-source components licensed under their own terms; those terms govern your use of those components.
Fees are payable in advance and are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds, where available, are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically and immediately if you breach any restriction in Section 3 or 4. On termination you must stop using and remove all copies of the Software. Sections 5, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the License giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and execution offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer-protection rights.
We may update this Agreement for future purchases and releases. The version you accept at checkout governs your License; material changes are re-presented for acceptance where required.
The Software periodically transmits technical diagnostic data to raxboard.com: error reports (error type, message, file path, line number, stack trace and the request URL with query parameters removed) together with your license key, licensed domain, installation identifier and software/PHP version numbers, plus anonymised security telemetry. This data is used solely to diagnose defects, improve the Software and protect the licensing system. No personal data of you or your members — user identifiers, IP addresses, form contents or message bodies — is transmitted. Error reporting is enabled by default and may be disabled at any time in the admin panel (Options → System → "Report errors to RaxBoard"); disabling it does not affect your License.
