Fix: the welcome message now stays above the Latest Threads widget on a fresh install of this theme.

RaxBoard 1.7.0 moved the guest welcome banner to the top of the forum index, above any widget placed in the "above content" area. This theme ships its own copy of the forum index and layout, so it needed the same change — without it, installing the theme after upgrading to 1.7.0 put the welcome message back underneath the widgets.

Also carries the 1.7.0 style-permission support: when an administrator removes the "Edit theme style settings" or "Switch theme" permission from a group, this theme no longer renders the style-tweaks link, the quick-tweaks panel or the footer theme picker for those members.

Requires RaxBoard 1.7.0 or newer for the permissions to have any effect; on an older core the theme behaves exactly as before.

New: administrators can lock the theme design.

RaxBoard core adds two optional group permissions — "Edit theme style settings" and "Switch theme". Both default to allowed, so nothing changes until an administrator turns one off in Admin > User Groups > Permissions.

This theme release makes them effective in its own templates: when "Edit theme style settings" is denied, the style-tweaks link, the quick-tweaks drawer and every trigger this theme ships are no longer rendered for that group, and when "Switch theme" is denied the footer theme picker is hidden. The members saved style preferences are then ignored so the design the administrators configured is what renders — the saved choices are kept, not deleted, and re-granting the permission restores them.

On an older core without those permissions the theme behaves exactly as before.

Fix: dialogs and overlays could open far down the page.

The page fade-in animation briefly applied a transform to the main content area, which made it the positioning reference for any modal opened during those first milliseconds — the dialog was then sized and placed against the content block instead of the window. The animation now fades opacity only.

Sidebar widget member (username) links now use the neutral theme text colour instead of the brand accent, matching the widget titles.

Fixed rated thread-list rows collapsing on mobile: on phones, topics that carry a star rating no longer wrap the title, author and date one word per line — rated rows now match unrated ones. (Root cause: the rating-column grid override had no mobile breakpoint.)

Updated for RaxBoard 1.6.0 — verified badges, pinned-alerts dropdown, and user-group username styling now render in this theme, plus the latest editor and gallery template rows.

Advertisement placement: sidebar ads now render in the right widget column (previously trapped in the collapsed icon rail and invisible). Added baseline ad styling so banners stay centered and contained.

Thread moderation tools (lock, pin, move, approve, delete) now show in the thread header for staff — previously missing on this theme. Also removed the extra gap above post content inside threads.

Fix: "edit message" now works on a message you just sent in a conversation (edit handler delegated to the messages container).

Post-foot action row: widen the button gap (was 6px, cramped) so Reply/Quote/Save and the flag/edit/delete icons have breathing room.

Profile Moderation dropdown: restyle Warn/Ban/Edit as visible menu items (were invisible white-ghost buttons on the white card).

Show Warn and Ban in the profile Moderation dropdown for admins even when general.warn / general.banUser permission vars are not supplied by the target core; canEditUser fallback.

Profile hero: moderation actions (Warn/Ban/Edit) collapsed into a Moderation toggle to declutter the action row; removed the admin badge from the user-menu header.

Fix thread-list layout for rated threads (rating column stole the stats grid track and wrapped the last-reply to a second row); compact rating chip.

Ship thread-header and postbit macro overrides (forced modern layout) so the navy thread band + rich postbit render regardless of the target core version.

Self-contained customCss so all styling (including the redesigned user menu) loads on marketplace install; marketplace does not serve /themes assets.

Initial release of the Stable theme.
